A friend of a friend was down awhile ago and brought her sewing machine. I had never seen one like this. A sewing machine on one side and a serger on the other. Does anyone else have one of these machines? It's a Combi DX New Home.
Boy! I'd love to know more.

I think this machine came out in the 90's. Jan thought she bought it in 1994. I hope she'll sell me her's someday!
So far I can only find them in New Zealand or Austraila!

now that is really neat....have not seen that one before! It must be an older machine because a general search for one turned up nothing but manuals you could have printed! Darn...thought this would be great for my sister that sews costumes.

Am I the only one who'd rather have the machines separate? Very cool, but not for me.

I think they were available in the mid to late 80s. My DH looked into getting one for me( I think it was a New Home). In the end he decided against because he felt if one part(machine) went bad, you would not be able to use the other either. that was also the feeling of the sewing store owner where he had asked about one. I don't know anyone that actually had one though.
