I like your solution to scraps, it's so boring just trimming them into squares. I've just recently started a container for "leftover" binding... it's already pressed so nicely & I've got about 10 different chunks in there now, some day there'll be enough for a scrappy quilt binding. Maybe I should get a little more exact with my calculations, but it's probably not going to happen in this lifetime.

btw: mice reproduce like rabbits. and the gestation period is very short. you can be very busy, very often.
