Red, gold and green are looking good. Beautiful quilt. BEST OF ALL, YOU'VE EDUCATED EVERYONE WHO KEEPS POSTING DOUBLE PHOTOS! Well done!

I vote for the first pic-red inner & then the offwhite & green binding! It's going to be an Awesome quilt!! Love the colors you picked!

I think like you do MQ2. I tend to shy away from the lighter borders. Any of your choices would be fine...I like the idea of a gold border added but the one you have selected looks washed out and doesn't do justice to your beautiful quilt! You have some deeper, richer golds in your quilt and I bet if you chose a richer gold it would be stunning! JMHO of course.

I would do the red and gold borders and bind it in the green.

I don't think it hurts to add to the red border because the blocks are pretty big. Have you tried white or off white between the red and the green binding? it would enhance your red and green and act as a spacer.

I like the gold border with the red inside. But I don't really care for a binding of a different color. That's adding too many colors around the outside. I would add the gold as you have it and make the binding of the gold also. The red is what really frames the quilt and stands out.

I like your use of the red - gold - green. There is gold in the quilt itself, so I think using the gold as one of your borders helps to frame the quilt. Gold is such a rich color, and it truly does make your quilt a masterpiece.
