I am going to do a block for our South Florida Fair quilt and the theme is high tech, such as cell phones, computers, robot.
Do any of you have any ideas for a 12.5 inch block?

Itunes, Ipods and the electronic book readers are all very popular high tech items now.

Ipod and a saying like there is an App for everything

Itune with musical notes around the block

Book reader with book titles around the block

It seems to me that a pieced robot would be quite fun to make and you could probably wing it without a pattern.

How about using small pinwheel blocks to create a large block of a wind farm?

    Sounds like a fun project!

I've seen a quilt that looked like a circuit board, that was cute

Thanks for your help. I am going to try to get a copyright release to use the Nook e-book. I am still looking for ideas though. The robot has already been take by another member.
