    Default Ideas Please

    Hi Everyone,

I made the Washington Medallion Quilt from a BOM. I have such a lot of fabrics left over (not in large pieces) that I would think I have enough to make at least a scrap lap quilt. The fabrics are all blues, browns and beiges.
Any ideas of a scrap pattern that this pallet would suit please.

    Thanks

    Caroline

I have seen a log cabin done in these colors and it was stunning.

How about a "potato chip block" - uses all 2" x 3.5" rectangles: https://inspiredquiltingbylealouise....p-quilt-block/ I used this recently as a wide border for a scrappy quilt (still working on the quilting or I'd show it to you). It's easy.

I made a disappearing 9-patch quilt on point using those very colors. Came out great. Made another smaller quilt using the scraps for his cat back then. Maybe make a couple throw pillows to go with the quilt or a lap quilt to go at the bottom of the bed so you don't need too much fabric.

I love D9P so much, when I therapy quilt cause it's been rough, when I need a quick pattern, D9P is the first thing I think of! I love how you can put the blocks together is so many ways and people always think it's super complicated when it's not.
