I would like to make something that can hang on the wall as a decoration, maybe 12 x 14, or even 10 x 12 anybody else do that? Patterns?

My avatar is about 14x14, but can be made smaller.

I love miniature quilts, so I do a lot of them.

What kinds of things are you looking for? Traditional patterns? Applique?

I have never done applique, so not too sure about that. Just something pretty, I guess.

what if you took a traditional quilt block and shrunk it? Like instead of a 12" finished, make each block 3" finished.

And my avatar was done with fusible applique. If you can cut and iron, you can do fusible.

Do a search on quilted wall hangings. There's bound to be something you like. Maybe buy a kit.

This is Chele's link to some of the Doll quilt swaps that have been done here on the Quilting Board.

Lots of inspiration here for small quilts
