If the cost of fabric goes up, will you still quilt?

consider it a time to be more creative in what you make.
Lots of thought goes into deciding what to make with that pile of fabric you thought was useless.
The old folks made string quilts when they didn't have fabric and you may even use up that poly cotton you were told is not suitable for quilts. what about the shirts and blouses that usually go to Goodwill.

I go to my local thrift store every Friday morning, when their clearance corner is $.23 an item ($.25 with tax)
I buy ALL the cotton mens shirts I can find. I prefer small checks, but have gotten into some stripes as well!
I keep the backs and sell the sleeves, fronts, and yokes!
