If the cost of fabric goes up, will you still quilt?

Time to use up the stash! I love to shop at thrift stores and Good Will too. You can't believe how much LQS fabric ends up in these stores! Just a couple of weeks ago I bought at least 20-25 yards of various cotton fabric that had been donated. I think I got all of it for less than $1 a yard! Where there is a will (to quilt) there is a way (to find good cheap fabric)!

Think of our "quilting ancestors" who barely could feed their families, but could use any little piece of fabric to make beautiful clothes and quilts. I think the current situation might put us more in touch with their spirit. Now I wanna go watch "Little House on the Prairie..."
