If you could spend one day with any quilter or someone who is relevant to the quilting world Who would it be? and why?
I am currently facinated with Paula Nadelsterns Kaleidoscope Quilts , and would love to spend a day "seeing" what she "see's" in fabrics.

Sharon Schamber! She has more tricks up her sleeve than anyone I've seen before plus she's a great teacher and I'd love to spend time with her to learn easier ways to do things that would improve the final look of my work.

While I've admittedly drunk the Sharon Schamber's KoolAid, I did spend almost a year channeling Paula:

Now, though, if I had a blissfully free rare day to do nothing but learn, I think I'd choose Diane Gaudynski or Leah Day because I really, really would want to focus on my FMQ.
I do well in intensive, crammed-full-of-information one-on-one sessions.
I mean, I wouldn't have to share "my one day" with someone else, would I?

I'm torn between Karen McTavish - I just love her quilting. Or My MIL, she taught me how to quilt. I would love to show her how I have improved and now I could show her a thing or two. I miss her, she passed away 4 1/2 yrs ago.
