I usually go for dark sashing but on this one LOVE the light, it really makes the coins jump out.

I like both color ways but the light is refreshing and a bit "newer" in look as I have seen the black done frequently.

I think both are nice. And you should go with the way you lean to as far as light and darks.

Now, that being said, I would usually go for the light.

NOT this time. I think the black makes a bigger bolder statement. And makes the fabrics sing.

I can't wait to see what you'll go with.

I really prefer the light but I am partial to lighter fabrics anyway.

I surprised myself. I generally like everything with black, but I really liked the light one best. It seems to me the light one looks like the batiks keep on going and are not really separated by the sashing, just sort of enhancing it.
I know whatever you decide you will be happy with the results.
