Thank you everybody, I feel very welcome!
Since you are all so interested in my little Patches, I'll tell you more about her. She's about 2 years old. You can see she's part Chihuahua. We were told that when a Shelter can't guess the other part, they always say it's a terrier mix. So, my husband dubbed Patches a "terrihuahua"! Many people at the dog parks, however, say she might be part Whippet or Italian Greyhound too because no other dog (in the little-dogs parks) can ever catch up with her when she's in running mode. Who knows... or cares! She knows 100 tricks (well, maybe not that many) and her snuggling is magically healing.
I know I'm supposed to share pictures in the picture section, but hey, this is my welcome back, so I'm going to take the liberty to share some of my quilt projects I've made as gifts. The lovely lady is my 90year old mother. That wallhanging was the first quilt I ever made. She and my Dad had recently come back from seeing Amish country but disappointed they couldn't afford a quilt there. They were so thrilled with my new hobby that I was inspired to keep doing it! The next photo is a small landscape I created and framed for a friend. The next photo is a pillow I made for my daughter after her trip to Russia. That was when my fingers could still applique. I was going to let you see me, but I guess 3 is the photo limit.
