Default I'm a happy girl!

A few weeks ago I saw a you tube video (Gammill Quilting). The lady on the video (I think her name was Paige Johnson) was talking about how to store rolls of batting. She finds old discarded office chairs, turns them upside down and pops off a little thing on the bottom. Then she turns it upside down, the seat then lifts off and you're left with the rolling part. It has a shaft that slips into the cardboard tube in the middle of the roll of batting. You can roll that batting anywhere. She talked about rolling it to her longarm when she wanted to measure the batting out. Well, I just found one and I'm loving it. What a great idea.

Wow! Thank you for posting this great idea. I have two older office chairs that need to go to the curb. One will definitely work to hold batting.

What an amazing idea! When my next chair wears out I will do just this. I buy batting by the bolt usually and this could made a great space saver.
