I have one and it is called a point turner. I usually use a chop stick though because it is longer and thinner and fits in to tighter places. The point turner is also good to use as a handy presser for short seams.

I have a plastic one that I bought at a quilt shop. It is a point turner. I use the point for the corners and use the rounded edge on curves or for turning circles. I don't recall what I paid for it, but it is a plastic white thing that quilt shops sell. Good luck in finding one, Huggies, Fay

I have the bamboo point turner...have had it for ages! But occasionally I still push out the corner, too!! LOL

I have such a tool. I brought it years ago for dressmaking. It's called a point turner and made of bamboo. Still one of my favorite tools! Maybe you can find it at JoAnns? Good luck! :lol:

I do not know the name of it but a cutical stick works,also a wooden spoon works. Try the quilt shops and ask. Could it be a stilleto?

I think what you are looking for is called a "woodeni iron". It is about 2 1/2 inches long and tapered.
