My DH is the same as yours. I've never hid anything from him unless it was HIS birthday/Christmas gifts. The odds are when we visit quilt shops/or shows, he will pick out fabric and give it to me on our way to the car. Those of us with DH's like this sure are some of the luckiest people in the world!

LADIES..........
I haven't seen any comments from our gentlemen quiltiers.........
How about it, guys........
how do the wives of gentlemen quilters feel about obtaining a stash? Do they understand as most of our hubbies do?
I'll bet they do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read every one of the posts and I have to say that I am so happy for each of you to have spouses who support your quilting and there is no need to hide your stash. In my house, I am the QUEEN! I do not have to hide any of my stash. I am able to spend whatever I want of fabric and supplies and no one ever complains when my pins drop on the floor or that the ironing board is always up. I guess that must be because I am single (sigh). I wish I had a significant other to share my hobbies with but alas, I have been single since my children were in middle school (a LONG time ago).It really is okay though. Since my children are now grown and live elsewhere, I have only myself to answer to. So sometimes I make a mess and leave it for a day or so, I sew anytime I want and I buy whatever fabrics I like and the only accountability is to my small bank account. I don't mind being single at all but there are times, like now while reading all your comments, that I wish (maybe??) that there were a King in my household too.
