Also a nice pair of small sligtly curved scissors. They help to cut the jump stitches. You don't want to get home and find out you don't have the color or the stabilizer you need.
The day after I got mine I went on e-bay and got a complete collection of embroidery threads from Thread arts; 125 spools and the rack for them, all for $180.00. A lot cheaper than getting one at a time.
