Default Need "quilt as you go" help please

I want to learn how to do the quilt as you go method, but would like to have a book to help me. I know there are youtubes out there on it, but the computer is in one room, and my sewing room is at the other end of the house. Can any of the board members that do this, recommend a good book? Thank you

I don't know of any books but I found this website and really like how she did a qayg Sew Many Quilts - Too Little Time: February 2009. I am interested in any books other board members know of, I don't really like videos for some reason my eyes cross and I fall into a coma. I will try half.com and Amazon for a used copy of any books that anyone suggests. Also there is a tutorial on the board for a different method QAYG that Kimberly uses :-) . It is very good.

There are many techniques for QAYG. The ones I like are the Georgia Bonesteel method. You can get a used book for $0.01 + Shipping:
http://www.amazon.com/More-Quilting-...ref=pd_sim_b_4
Marti Michell has a good one "Quilting in Sections"

I used the Marti Michell book until I got a longarm. It's not really the same as QAYG. The book includes a number of different methods that can applied to almost any quilt, and not necessarily on a block-by-block basis. I highly recommend it.

Check out this ongoing thread here. JenniKy did a great job of explaining QAYG & photographing each step.

Here's a good tutorial, for the way I do it. It's easy and works well every time. http://welshquilter.blogspot.com/200...as-you-go.html

There are also good instructions at quilterscache.com
