Love all of the colors, no matter what you use it will be great. I do like the multicolored floral that breaks up the other colors. Thank you.

I thought the purple and blue were to close in color value as well so I will switch that one to a new place.... This pattern is in the current issue of Fons & Porter magazine

Beautiful start. I would like to see a simple background but would find a way to add the piece to each part of the star to avoid inset seams. Then you would be sewing everything on a straight line. Hope this works out for you and can't wait to see the finished piece.
