Both are nice, but I prefer the first one. Must be fun to design quilts on the computer.

I like the first one, also, but I sure wouldn't want to try to make it. Be sure to let us see it if you decide to make it.

I like your version better, much more movement than the original setting. You just made it your own!!

I like the wrong one much better. Exciting, thrilling. The right one(if you say sooo) is boring compared to the wrong one. Both will be beautiful.

I would call the first one, lots more cutting, matching seams and thus much more work. I do like it best.

    Smile Doubletime Waves

If your son is in the military,,,I would call it Doubletime Waves....... I think your mistake is great, don't loose the pattern you might think about it and make even though it might be a little more time to do so.

Well, my son finally got back to me on the design and asked me to add something to the design. The original quilt that he saw had a red heart worked into the design. He asked me to color a blue one in on this quilt. He liked the one that the majority of you all liked or the "boo boo" quilt as I call it. This was his final choice of colors and will be my next project. Thanks for all the input. Ann
