I recently picked up their latest issue at my local Barnes and Noble (I love that magazine!) and noticed an interesting article. It turns out that they accidentally violated copyright law, and are owning up to it in the new issue. It looks like they published a design by one quilter that had already been published by another designer years earlier. It's pretty interesting reading, and I thought some of you may wish to check it out.

Disclaimer: This is intended as FYI and an inducement to get some of you to check out a magazine I love. I am NOT trying to get us all to rehash our feelings about copyright law. again.

Have you seen that you can subsribe online now, get an electronic version, and it's pretty cheap? I think I may do that soon, since I love the magazine so much, and it will only take up space on my hard drive, not on my bookshelves!
