I bought a book of Iron on Quilt labels from Joanne's. They are wonderful and very easy! With your 50 percent off coupon the book is about 4.00 for 50 labells. the book is called 50 Nifty Iron on Quilt Laels by Barbara Baatz Hillman. Very simple! Just cut out the label from the book, and iron it on to a light colored piece of fabric. Then use seam a steam light on the fabric. Put it on your backing and applique it. I also used a permenant marker to write the persons name I was giving it to and then mine and the year http://www.amazon.com/50-Nifty-Iron-.../dp/B000GIP6DC - it is cheaper at Joanne's and also you can use a coupon.

I have 2 of those books and use the labels all the time. Did you know you can get 2 labels out of each iron on if you are careful. You can get the book on eBay or Amazon, too.

Thanks the the tip...I did not know that you could use them more than once. I really like how they look. I used it on a light fabric that had roses and it looks wonderful.

Do you know the printing will fade alot if you dont use fabric that has some polyester in it. Cant use 100% cotton.
