I am so glad you posted this!! I thought it was just me and my eyes were playing tricks on me. LOL! I always seem to notice it when I iron deep pinks or reds.

Yep, have had this happen. Especially with a bright gold fabric. Still have a little bit of it left so I can iron it on occasion and laugh at it turning color ... lol

I had this happen with some olive drab fabric I was using for a military themed quilt. Initially the color changed back, but I found if I pressed too long/too hot, it didn't return to the old color, and some was unusable (having turned a pink-tinged hue). I went back and got more, and pressed only on a very low setting. I would take care not to go too hot with it.

YES! There is a possibility yu have fabric that is suppose to change color with heat (not sunlight necessarily). I am finishing a quilt, and it entirely changes color, I wanted that. Years back a company named Generra out of NYC sold shirts from this fabric. I received a huge box of their sample and scraps and made the quilt top; that's been 20 years ago. And today I am nearly finished quilting it. Here's a peak!

BTW, The center changed color when I heated it up and will cool back down to the outer colors.
