My favorite is the WM special about $7.00. No automatic shut off, I really love that part!!! The steam is great as well. I heard the were going to make auto shut off manditory so I went to WM and stocked up. At that price all I have to do is store them. The one I use I have had for 2 years, I use it a lot and still love it. My expensive irons are on the closet shelf .

I just bought a $15 Toastmaster iron this week and love it. It's just heavy enough, has great bursts of steam, glides easily, swivel cord and automatic turn off after 10 minutes of non use. In contrast I hate my hardly used Shark X-tended Steam Burst as it takes a while to get hot and automatically turns off as soon as I turn my back! It's also heavy and was expensive ($100)! Irons are like sewing machines, the perfect one has not yet been invented. As for me, I think I'll stick to the cheap ones and then if my cat knocks it off the ironing board, I won't need a loan to buy a new one.
