Default ISO free Breast Cancer Ribbon Pattern

I am wanting to make a Breast Cancer Ribbon Quilt for my adopted Daughter, I have found some on Pinterest but the problem is: I can't get a pattern for any of them.

I want it to look like a Ribbon Bow ... not squared at the top.

I hope that some one out there can Help me!

    Thanks very much

Here's one, although it is square at the top but you could use the background color and do the rest of the ribbon and just applique the curved piece.

You may be able to find a pattern if you search for "yellow ribbon". There was one popular in the 90's.

Not sure what you mean by not squared of at the top, but here's a tut on how to make one.

May I just put this out there? Some of us who have walked that path don't really want to look at a reminder every day. Unless you are sure this is what she wants (and we are all different) maybe make something that is more generic if you know what I mean? If I had gotten a pink or ribbon quilt when I was going through treatment I would have put it far away. I don't mean to be disrespectful and this may be what she wants in case please disregard. Wishing her well.

Stitchnripper has a point. I have had cancer twice, each a different cancer, and I just have a hard time with everything being pink. There are times I just have to go along but I don't want the reminder. I have enough pain that I don't need a reminder. There a lot of people that like the extra support this will help, so do it for them.

Thank you Stitchnripper - I was going to suggest that Boston Mom read some of the comments Breast Cancer quilt information and Need Help I think it really does depend on the recipients feelings.

That being said a few links would be:

I agree, Stitchripper. That part of my life is over and I do not want my identity to be "cancer survivor" for the rest of it.

My sister and cousin were both found breast cancer within weeks of one another, so I decided to make quilts for them. I did not know if the bc ribbon would be what they wanted so found a tula pink pattern of large hearts. Picked out pretty bright fabric with flowers, chocolate, butterflies, birds, etc. and made each heart different with all the special things in life. Made a small label on the back with the pink ribbon and both women loved the fact that they did not have to be reminded of the cancer every time they use the snuggle quilt. Both are now cancer free. Peace, Brenda
