Just want everyone to know that I took a day long workshop last week through our guild (Brandywine Valley Quilters) on Asian Inspired Jackets. It was run by Lacey Hill of Golden Tyme Designs. It was absolutely fabulous. Her jackets are just gorgeous; also coats, shrugs and wraps. I haven't finished mine yet - maybe next month - but I promise to post a picture of it when it is finished. She is a wonderful energetic person who will help with anything. I have only been quilting for 3 years; have never made any WEARABLES before and it took a lot of courage for me to do this; I AM SO GLAD I DID! She is a great person to spend the day with also; lots of energy; plenty of helpful ideas for everyday use; great sense of humor. If you have a guild and need a speaker, I recommend her highly. Can't wait to finish the jacket and wear it proudly.
