Welcome to the board and thank you so much for posting this idea. I've been thinking of doing this at our retreat and just didn't want to do it the way it has been done here using the full strips. I love the idea of the different size strips and may even take it a step farther and cut some in 1/4 strip. Will see how this works out. Will see what happens.

Both are beautiful. Thanks for the cutting the strips idea. I really like the way the quilts look when the strips are shorter.
