I bought fabric from Tuesday morning as well! It was a year ago as well. I was shocked to see kits there. My find that day was 2 fat quarter bundles along with 2 yards of fabric to coordinate with the fat quarters. I still haven't used them though.

I love the colors in your jelly roll. Please send a photo when you get the quilt made? I'd love to see it!

I love your fabrics and I think you will have an adorable quilt with the 3 Dudes method. I can't wait to try that myself!!

Default Jelly rolls

I think the 3 Dudes pattern would look just fine with four strips and that pattern is so much fun to do!

I have seen the three dudes pattern in only a few colors, and they looked great. You can put those squares together in so many different ways. Also if you separate each of the 4 squares with sashing of a coordinating color, that would add a lot to it. And make it bigger

I have that same jelly roll and I've been picking up some other blues, greens, and one deep yellow. I have considered the Amazing Strip Quilt by the 3 Dudes. Not sure yet what I will do.

A cool pattern is the 60 degree braid from Fons and Porter. It works very well with strips, even with only 4 colors. Here's the link although you do have to register for the tutorial. You can purchase the template but I made one from sandpaper.http://www.fonsandporter.com/columns/sew_easy_lessons

I bought this same jelly roll at Tuesday Mornings. I was also a bit disappointed in the lack of variety. I did the jelly roll race with it, and just supplemented with fabrics from my stash as I felt that particular pattern needed variety. It is a fast quilt top...not really my favorite but good for a donation quilt.

I made a quilt for a wedding gift with that roll! We also used some fats that were similar (not sure if same fabric line)
http://ozarkcastle.blogspot.com/2011...to-go-for.html I love the pre-cuts for making 4 patch or 9 patch.

enjoy your set!

Oh, I love Tuesday Morning, but need to stay out of there, always buying FQ bundles, kits and jelly rolls. I have so much fabric already, so need to use up what I have.

I think the four fabrics would work great with that pattern.

Hi Dina,
Missouri Quilt Co. has a You Tube tutorial on the "Three Dudes" quilt. Jenny at Missouri does a lot of tutorials on You Tube and really does a good job of explaining everything.
