Jenny Doan's Space Block Kids Quilt Tutorial--Want Other Fabric Ideas

The Missouri Star Quilt Company's Jenny Doan recently had another YouTube tutorial on the Space Block Kids Quilt using the Layer Cake and its so easy and cute however I would like to make it with a different style fabric (not kid related) maybe a floral. Any ideas?

I saved this tutorial because I thought any layer cake would be great - that's what I love about pre-cuts - the fabric collection is already picked out! I had in mind a modern fabric collection, but I'm interested in other fabric ideas, too.
