    I stripped out the screw that holds the needle in-so my baby is gone for up to 2 weeks.thankfully I have another for backup.

    isnt it funny how we get used to one machine and it is like having a child leave home when it has to go out. lol.. My backup is a brother and I do not sew as well on it as I do m Bernina...

    Couldn't they give you a loaner? Like with a car?

    I sold all my backups - maybe that was a stupid thing to do.

    Just think of her being at the "Spa" being rejuvenated. Soon she will be home feeling good as new. My machines go to the spa yearly.

    WhooHoo! Lucky you, to have a backup! I have a back up machine, too. It was kind of hard explaining why I NEEDED a second Bernina..... :)

    My Pfaff just went to the doctor this morning - something wrong in the bobbin area. Yes, thank goodness for my Brother backup machine!

    Good thing you have backup. :) I have three machines. I don't know what the odds are of them all not working at the same time. I hope that never happens.
