Well I just did a "fact check" with Needlecraft, another distributor that we buy from. And this is what I was told:

"Yes, it's true. Guess they found too many prints getting in the hands of manufacturers. We have until March 1 to submit any last orders. This fabric will continue in chain stores."

I asked who the manufacturers were, if they were Etsy or eBay sellers, and was told , "Yes, I believe that's the problem, maybe even on a larger scale than Etsy or Ebay."

So now you know the whole scoop!

FF ... Thanks for the updates! I wasn't trying to set off any alarms when I asked my questions. I didn't know who made, distributed, etc. the fabrics, and just wanted to clarify if it really was a concern or not for all the JD fans.

For me, it's not a huge issue, as I have a IH and Case history. Though I will probably try to find some sooner, rather than later for some projects I know I'll want to do for a few people.

I really do appreciate your sharing this info, and any other inside scoops you give us. I really do like seeing the fabrics before they land in the shops ...... and find it fun when you ask for opinions as you are making your buying decisions!
