I am compiling a list of comments from critique sheets completed by judges.
For those of you who have entered quilts in judged shows, what are the comments you received related to aspects of the quilt that needed improvement.
As a quilt judge I know the things I see and comment on but I wonder what you may have received.
One of the most common I see is "binding needs improvement". As a result I have been teaching classes on improving the basic straight binding with mitred corners. No fancy bindings because I believe 99.99% of quilts are finished with a plain straight binding.
What other details have any of you had identified?
