I love mine too. I only wish there were a couple more slots as I was just doing a project that took 5" strips and would have loved that extra making it 20" instead of 18".

I'm going to have to look for the larger size--thought I had the largest size and I'd love the 20"

Just went to JAF online and it is "no longer available". Hoping it is still in store.

I just checked joann.com and searched for "June tailor shape cut". All 5 popped up at 50% off. Some are online only. I noticed there's a 16x16 also. Free shipping > $50. Try again. Maybe you had a typo.

I just bought the Shape Cut Plus 12" X 18" - tried it out today and absolutely LOVE it! Thanks to all who provided information on this wonderful tool. I can cut strips using my ruler, but this does it so much quicker. I can't wait to try it to cut blocks.

Wondering if you can use the JT ruler to cut strips from extra wide fabrics? TIA

If you like it, and it makes life easier as a quilter, where's the problem? So it's more flexible than Omnigrid. So perhaps you'll have to get a new one in 10 or 15 years if you use it a lot. No big deal there. I have rulers that are more than 20 years old, and are still working. If it works for you, just enjoy it, and forget about trying to rationalize the purchase.

I have had my Shape Cut for years, it makes the most accurate strips. I love it and it does not give too much when you are cutting. I suggest you try it AngelinaMaria, you just might be surprised!
