Just Read about Ardis James

She was the co-founder of the International Quilt Study Center at the University of Nebraska. This was in the latest issue of Time magazine.
She and her husband were early collectors of quilts. They thought of their quilts as Works of Art and collected them as such.
We as quilters create Works of Arts in out own sewing rooms. We are Artists! Everyone of us. There are no mistakes or bad quilts. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ardis James recently died at the age of 85. Does anybody know if she made quilts herself?
