K C Star " turtle on a quilt "
I'm looking for a vintage pattern from the newspaper KC Star. It was turtle on a quilt 1943 and 1949. it looks like it's made from a drunkards path block . does anyone have this clipping or know where I can get it ?

I remember seeing that pattern a few years ago in a book. It had green turtles on it, and the head and tail had a triangular shape. I will look through some of my books tonight.
Google turtle quilt patterns and some will come up. I am sure you can find a pattern there.
https://www.pinterest.com/mlisscreates/quilt-turtle/ about 1/2 down there is a pattern showing the breakdown of the pattern
Here is a quiltville one, although the pattern is not there, you can wing it: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2012/...scrap-bag.html

Google "Drunkard's Path Turtles". That brings up a lot of images and a few free patterns.

have you tried Pickledish.com? It's a website that you can subscribe to or not and buy individual KC Star patterns which they feature. If you subscribe, I think $14 or thereabouts, a year you have access to most, if not all of their KC Star patterns, the year, name, pattern, and instructions. I subscribed to it for a long time and saved the patterns I wanted. For the price, they send several featured KC Star patterns a month as I remember.
