Try some practice pieces first. Get some scraps and take some time to make some practice blocks. It will be well worth your time. After you're comfortable move to the quilt. Take your time. Slow the machine motor if you can. Remember, this is a very busy quilt and if some seams aren't perfect they will not show unless you let one of those quilting police near it after it is complete! Don't let them near it! I'm doing an orange peel right now and you should try it after the CDM is finished. They are so much fun!
