Did anyone make any of Kim Diehl patterns if so where did you get your fabric and were they fairly easy to do
    Thank you so much

I love Kim Diehl's patterns! In fact, I'm making one now that was in Am Patchwork & Quilting a few months ago. The magazine showed cotton but I'm using wool for this one. I just use stash to make mine. She does design a line of fabric, and I have purchased some in quilt shops. You might try googling.

I have made one Kim Diehl pattern and used Thimbleberries fabric. It was the perfect substitute! The pattern was fairly easy, but I did not do the applique part of it. I've never done applique...

Working on one of her applique patterns now. I used my own stash of Civil War fabrics as that is what I'm drawn to naturally.

I got my Sew Sampler box yesterday. SPOILER ALERT for those that haven't gotten theirs yet.

There is Henry Glass fabric for the included Kim Diehl pattern, and thread to match in this month's box. The fabric is beautiful. Also 40% off all Kim Diehl books with coupon code included. There is enough fabric to make a small size of the pattern but more can be ordered if you want to make a large quilt.

My LQS carries most of the Kim Diehl line and books. I love the prints.
