I am one of those who love orange. We once had a kitchen (in Santa Fe) that had orange countertops and I absolutely loved that space. I have had an orange colored car. And, orange appears in many of my quilts. In fact, I am making one for my son's 50th birthday and it has a blue/teal background. The interior borders will be orange.

I used to detest orange. Now I love it. Isn't it funny how our taste changes.

So true. I've seen quilts on the board that I absolutely loved and swore I didn't like a color until I saw it made into a quilt. That's why I want some of this orange (Tiger Lily) fabric.

I use orange in kid quilts and even like the cheddar. But bold TN orange for me--no way. I'm a UGA Bulldogs fan--red and black. Go Dawgs!

I do not relate to orange, but there is a place for everything.

I was not a fan of orange until I saw the "Vibrant Log Cabin" posted by ekuw Vibrant Log Cabin. It totally changed how I looked at orange.

I still haven't made anything with orange but I do intend on buying some of the Kona fabric as it looks so rich. And someday there will be an orange quilt on my design wall!

Jan, i was thinking the one quilt in your link was orange peel and perfect quilt for orange. then went back to see how it was done. it is a circle quilt folded over. I've made those, so will think seriously of an orange one! thanks.

Not a big fan of orange but do use it. No a fan of lime either but it is starting to grow on me, especially if it is a bit toward yellow. Together they are great.
