Honest opinion, please. Do you think this label is too big for quilt? It's 17 inches across and 13 on sides. It will be stitched on sides within binding and blind stitched on top, but will be loose on the rest. Will it look okay after many washings? Thanks for responses and opinions.

I think I would stitch it in several places in the middle, not all the way through the quilt but into the backing so it won't be baggy

I'd stitch it down across the top. you could quilt thru it.
I have made big labels too. one was of a kitten in a pirate ship with a parrot. it came out cute.

I would love to see the front! Grey, white and pink is soooo pretty!

To answer your question, for me the label is rather large ... but I see you are from Texas and I hear everything is larger in Texas. Haha. I actually like the triangled shape. I would sew all sides. Very pretty BTW.

It seems rather large to me but mine tend to be on the small side compared to some I've seen.

It looks fine. I can't see the proportions compared to the quilt, but it's not 1/4 the size of the quilt, and it looks good. Besides, the Texas thing!

Not too large at all. It makes the quilt extra special.

I think it is just fine. Mine are 6 x 9 inches on every quilt I make except for the very small wall hangings.
