Default Labels from Spoonflower

How many of you have designed your own labels from Spoonflower?
I would like to add my name to the label but don't know if I should add my prior married name along with new married name.
I'm thinking about the future and family knowing exactly where came from.
What do you think?
Should I add Grandma to the name??
Please give your opinions and/or examples.
Thanks in Advance
Mary

If these labels are for personal gifts I would add grandma, Nana, friend, or what every you want so that a family member or friends would know this quilt was presented by someone who loves Them.
If the label is being used to make quilt that are being sold to people that are not related or friends that involve any monies I would make an entirely different label.

I agree with Juliasb. Maybe just write Grandma and use your first name.

In 50 years no one will know who grandma is. If it were me, I would have full maiden and married name, date, quilt pattern, and location printed on the labels.

I created a fairly generic label with lines for personalization the spoonflower labels contain a place for name of quilt, and any personal message related to the recipient then has my name, City, State and care instructions. Then room for the year finished and fiber content- the label says Fiber content; then a line for me to fill in, same with date, etc.

If this is something you think will become a family heirloom or passed down, I'd do a handwritten label on fabric. People would treasure a personal label with your handwriting.

definitely have your full name--if that quilt gets handed down or even "misplaced" it will be easier to get it back to either you or the owner. First, maiden, all married names plus date finished and location (city and state).

One of the companies sell both stencils as well as printed labels for quilts.
