I made one, and it was the first embroidery project I did on my Bernina 440. I'd say that I learned everything I know about embroidery from doing it, especially how to retrieve designs gone wrong! Because mine is a 5.5mm machine and not a 9mm Artista it doesn't look quite the same but I am pleased with how it turned out.
I've seen them done in cottons and would choose to do that if I ever make another one.

I want to do the real thing,but I'm of doing one on cotton first.
I have been reading a lot about the quilt as you go method, maybe I could get it finnished. I have so many q-tops. I perfer to peice the tops than quilt. How did you quilt yours?
