Hi all, I am making the "diamonds at large" quilt from Layer Cake, Jellies and Charm Square. It says to cut the rectangles (7.5 x 10 inch rectangle) on the diagonal, then sew right sides together. (So you end up with a half square triangle that is rectangle/not square). Is it is as easy as lining up the cut edge with right sides together and piecing it? Things I read about rectangles make me think its more complicated than this...? Tell me if I'm not making sense :) Thanks!! Kim

Thinking, thinking, Hmmm, I'm not sure. I am not very good with this type of thing. Sorry.

The picture in my mind says it should be as easy as that, but I can't say from experience for sure. :) Of course wouldn't one triangle have to be one way, and the other the other way. But with cut edges still aligned. Like pointy end of one triangle pointing down, the other pointing up with cut edges together. I'm making sense to myself. :)

I think it is that simple... it would be just like taking your triangle cutting it on the diaginol and then sewing it back together :?
