Thanks ladies for the support (sue and suz), helps in the confidence department.

Hey Jennie, Good to hear that you have made not one but two of these purses and that the pattern instructions gave you no issues!

The directions for the Lazy Girl bags are usually pretty clear . There is also a Yahoo group for Lazy Girl that you might like.

I will check out the Yahoo group for the Lazy Girl again. I went previously and did not see a whole lot there. Maybe I was in too much of a hurry. Thanks!

Actually, I just noticed that I was on the wrong website. I think I was on her blog. I joined the Yahoo group and it is pending. I hope to be able to read what others have to say. Should be informative and fun. Thanks again.

Hi, I just wanted to add my 2 cents....the first purse I ever made was the Miranda Lazy Girl bag. I was a bit intimidated but you just can't beat the excellent directions coupled with the detailed pictures that are included in the instructions. They detail every step. I'm sure you will have no problem following. Be sure to show us a pic when you're done!

    Hey Kim,

These Lazy Girl bags are actually nice looking. Thanks for letting me know that the instructions come with detailed pictures. Pictures help out soooooooooo much. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what they are saying... but if they show a picture along with the words, then it's more like, "Ahhhhh, I get it now!" Okay, I feel quite confident after reading everyone's thoughts that I can just go ahead and get the pattern with no worries. I will definitely post a picture once I have finished my Sassy Bag!

I have made a lot of purses. Not this particular one. The first one I made was a little bit hard. I don't like to read directions. I found the directions different to read than a quilt But once you do one purse it seems the others are all easier.

I have made several with that pattern. Have given them all away so no picture. I love Lazy Girl patterns. Easy and fun. Word of caution about JoAnn coupons. My latest ones say (in the fine print) cannot be used on any pattern. Good luck with your project.
