I do a lot of purses. If you need any help I'm here. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

and Lazy Girl has a Yahoo site.
If you watchs the video on this site she shows all of the steps to make the bag. Seems very easy.

I have made one and it was very easy. It is on the small side, which for me, is perfect. I really love the small size and the strap is long for a cross the body bag. I don't have any photos of it to post.

I made several gifts from her Wonder Wallet pattern and the instructions were very explicit and easy to follow. I'm glad to be reminded of her patterns and made aware of her website.

Has anyone had trouble sewing through all of the layers of the purse? seems that when I sew all of the layers my bobbin jams up...what a mess. I think it is too thick for the top thread to catch with the bobbin. Any suggestions out there?

I have that problem sometimes I try a denin or a leather needle. Sometimes that helps

I made one and it was very easy. I'm a visual learner and the pictures helped me alot. The only thing I can fault it for, is I wish it was a bit larger. Next one I make I'm going to try to enlarge it. Sorry, I don't have a pic.

Joan Hawley (Lazy Girl Designs) also has a very good tut on zippers. I'd thrown all my zippers out and then had to retrieve them. So easy, and no zipper foot needed. :-)
