..As I looked around and tried to decide what to embroider next, my eyes fell up my kitchen towel. No time to wash first, into the hoop it went!

Wet because I used washable interfacing on top.

That is so pretty! I have had the 830 LE since April and my DD just asked me to do some embroidery on a towel for her. Then she sewed on it. Well now she has all kinds of ideas for Christmas presents involving "playing" with Ruby (my machine)! LOL Yep! It's addictive. When I am in the "embroidery zone" nothing that is standing still is safe! Enjoy! Would love to see more of your projects.

    Looks like fun

I have a 630 with the embroidery but I have never learned how to fully use it so I only use it to make quilt labels so far. I need someone to teach me how to download stuff and get it to my machine

Oh yes! Really you should! It is so awesome to watch an awesome design grow right in front of you! Can you take mastery classes at your dealers?

Neat design. You have to try embroidering on toilet paper. You never have to search for something to embroidery and if you mess up or don't like it, you rip it off and go again. LOL

I LOVE my 830. When I bought mine I got the quilt frame as a benny. It just makes me want to have a real quilt machine. LoL! But for now and until I totally loose my mind...my set up works fabulously. Enjoy! May you embroider everything not nailed down. =)

I have tried. My software is hopelessly out of date, and I don't want to spend $$$$ for new software. It doesn't help that my shop with the dealer is closing in a matter of weeks

Enjoy your 830, it's a fabulous machine! I've been having a blast with mine this week working on a machine embroidered/applique baby quilt.

I believe you can go to the Bernina USA Website and down load ART Link for free, which should allow you to use any purchased or free downloaded designs. You can't design your own, but this should work for you other wise. If you need any more info PM me.

You will find yourself seeing things that "need" embroidery all around you. It is great fun.

I also have the new 830 and just recently used it on a 4 day retreat for quilting. Have had embroidery machines in the past and now am ready to use it for embroidery, especially that jumbo hoop. It is an amazing machine.

This is tons of fun! I have been teasing my son and telling him I am going to embroider his underwear! :-) Made a mug rug for my mom and mailed it to her.
