I like the light background with the floral fabrics. Normally I like the drama of the dark background and both of these are beautiful.

LOL, I was about to type the same words but in the opposite. I can't believe I'm saying THIS, but I love the light best. And I usually lean towards the darker more dramatic.

I have to ask what is the color/name and manufacturer of your light background fabric? I am totally in love with it. Had you chosen a white or tone on tone white, I probably would have chosen the dark. However, this color is absolutely amazing in it's ability to pick up and reflect the colors in the print.
It's a wonderful quilt you have there and I totally love it.
All the fabrics in the Quilt are by Fabric Freedom of London. These are very high quality quiliting cottons that use extremely high quality dyes and finishing techniques and are on very high-quality base fabric so their hand is great and the colors really pop. They are not widely distributed in the USA, being more available in England and Australia. (Full disclosure: Our online store is the largest online Fabric Freedom seller on the internet).

The main fabrics in the quilt are from Fabric Freedom's new Deco Delight line - red/rust colorway. There are five different fabrics in the quilt from this line.

The background fabrics are from Fabric Freedom's Perfect Palette line of dye-matched blenders. All FF fabrics use the color palette represented in this blender line in some manner, so the light and dark backgrounds in these quilts will perfectly match with elements of the Deco Delight fabrics. Each Perfect Palette blender uses 8 screens of different colors to make a wide variation of the colors that will work with them. These variations also give them a nice "cloud" effect.

The pattern for these quilts is Shenandoah, by Creative Sewlutions.

You can PM me for more information on these fabrics or quilts.

That's a hard call - they're both beautiful! I think if I were going to use it for a bed, I'd go for the light one.

I love both of them, normally I lean towards dark backgrounds, but I really like the light background on this one.
