Default Lighter weight batting??

Hi Everyone, I found on ebay a site where I could purchase queen sized (90x90) quilt tops already made. Very reasonable in price. I want to finish and be able to donate where ever needed. My Janome 6500 only has a 9 inch harp to quilt in - something I didn't think out too well and am wondering if a lighter weight batting might be a solution. I have only used warm and natural in the past. If I have to send them out to be quilted I won't be able to afford it. Can anyone suggest a lighter weight batting that might allow me to be able to quilt these myself? I so admire you all donating to different causes, thought this might be a good solution for me to be able to help also.

Try Dream Request. It is lighter weight poly batting and comes up to about 120" wide.
Any poly batting will be easier to get thru the machine than the warm batting

Plain white cotton flannel works well as lightweight batting, too. We used it in some of the Barracks Quilts sent to the soldiers in Afghanistan a year ago.

For a light weight thinner batting I like Cream Rose( a cotton batting) . Really nice to work with and it is thinner than Warm and Natural. It is a Mountain Mist product.

thanks so much for the help, know this is kind of "cheating" but do want to help w/ donating for good causes. Shouldn't have ordered such big sizes (have 4 to do)
