Good Morning!
Yes I started working on the pattern pieces. Have the book, just waiting for fabric and the CD to arrive.
Copied all blocks onto freezer paper - once I had numbered all the pieces now working on Block 3. Cut out those pieces and ironed onto prewashed Batik fabric, cut out all pieces allowing enough fabric for applique process and holding all pieces for each block in ziplock bag until my background fabric arrives from USA, should be here next week, then can start applique process - anxiously waiting to start.

I have had this book for a number of years - bring it out every now and then, drool over it, work out fabrics - and then reality hits me - my needleturn leaves a lot to be desired !!!!

Linda and Joyce--both of you have done outstanding work on Little Brown Bird! What a wonderful heirloom. I don't think I'd live long enough to complete a gorgeous quilt like that! Kudos to both of you.
