Go on BHG.com and type in purses. They have a darling little purse that doesn't require a lot of fabric. Good luck.
You could also just make her one like a simple little tote but use two different coordinating fabrics so it doesn't look like a tote.

Go to themotherhuddle.com and look for free bracelet purse. I have made a few from this pattern. And it is easy to sew and easy to enlarge if need be.

Penny Sturgess has a cupcake purse. the bottom of the purse looks like the cake part, the top is icing with sprinkles in it. I've made 2 for my DGD. It is an easy pattern and sized for a child too.
