So cool! When I was in NYC I went to the garment district and walked by a shop that had their entire front HUGE window, covered top to bottom with shelves. Those shelves were filled with old Singers from every vintage. Probably about 200 machines, I could not take my eyes off those grand old beauties. They were just sparkling and I just so enjoyed taking in the sight. Just wondering who used them and were they cared for as much as they are being cared for now. Maybe you all on this board are the only ones who know what I'm talking about.

Have a great day

I was given some size 10 crochet thread in a plastic box. Looking closer, there were 6 metal bobbins. some are solid around and standard size and a couple have holes around the top. They had belonged to a woman who had reached the age of 100, so perhaps they also are old. Does this sound like something belonging to these old machines? I would be happy to mail them off. They all have thread on them at the time but that is easily taken off. Free to first one asking, after I find a padded envelope to put them in. I will ask hubby to take a picture of them if that is desired.
