I would have bought that in a heartbeat...and paid more than she was asking too! That cabinet is awesome! Craftsmanship...one of those things that you don't find much these days...unless it is from one of us quilters...LOL! Good Purchase! Most all machine shops still sell belts, because none of those machines actually died...they are still in loving service--so parts are very easy to come by! My sister does all of her piecing on her treadle! She says it is very relaxing....

It never ceases to amaze me when I see one of those oldies like that. The beauty and craftsmanship is just phenomanal.
They sure don't make things like that anymore. What a treasure! So thankful you found it before it became a vanity. May you have many years of enjoyment out of both the machine and cabinet.

Awesome find! I'm happy for you and the machine will have a new mom, oh the tears of joy, if it rains Friday it's just the angels crying with happiness for you.

Thanks for all the nice comments, I picked it up Friday and I just got home from MO a little bit ago so I havent had time to try it out. The cabinet needs some work, there is some veneer missing on the top so I will have to do some research on how to refinish it. I will need a new belt also..so funny, she had a cotton clothesline that she was using for the belt! I guess whatever works, but I want a real one. Wait until you see what I got at a yard sale Saturday.....Ill post that tomorrow, going to work now.
