    I also have this machine,although I piece now mainly with my Janome just because of the bigger harp. I do all my labels on it though with the embroidery attachment...you will get hooked. It is a lovely machine.

    I loved my Designer
    Learn the embroidery if you have the unit
    Lots of help online and I take lessons at the dealer

    I just bought a used Viking quilt designer a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!! Lucky you and hooray for mama just giving it to you!!!!!
